mpe operates to private equity industry standard protocols, with full FSA regulatory approval and membership of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.

mpe is based in Manchester with the capability to work on deals nationally.

Target businesses are likely to be making more than £1 million profits in sectors which are clearly understood. Transactions with these businesses will involve backing management teams to acquire them, providing development capital for expansion or acquisition, or facilitating an equity release by the shareholders.

mpe investments in each deal are generally between £500,000 and £10m and are underwritten internally. Exit timetables and return expectations are flexible and are judged on a deal by deal basis.
